Appointment Policies:


Cancellation:

If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours before the appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a fee, which is equal to 50% of the scheduled service.


Lateness:

Where possible, please let us know if you are going to be late for your appointment, we can usually allow for a few minutes, however if you are more than 30 minutes late, we may have to reschedule your appointment and the above cancellation terms will apply.


No- Shows:

If you do not show for your appointment and haven’t contacted the salon, you may be removed from the booking system.


Rescheduling: We realise that unforeseen circumstances might require schedule adjustments. If you need to reschedule an appointment, we request at least 24 hours notice, if possible.


Our right to Cancel:

We reserve the right to cancel an appointment. Should such a cancellation occur within 48 hours prior to your appointment time, a new appointment will be scheduled without additional fees, based on availability.


Refunds for retail products:



Defective or Damaged Products:

If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item. We will arrange for a replacement or provide a full refund, including any shipping charges incurred.


Change of Mind:

We understand that sometimes you may change your mind about a purchase. In such cases, you can return the unused and undamaged item within 14 days of receiving it. Please note that the return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer. Once we receive the returned item, we will issue a refund for the product's purchase price, excluding any shipping charges.


Incorrect or Incomplete Orders:

If you receive an incorrect or incomplete order, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item. We will rectify the issue by sending the correct items or completing the order as soon as possible, at no additional cost to you.


Refunds for Stock Hair Systems and Hair replacement services:

If you change your mind and decide to not go ahead with your hair replacement fitting service then we will require at least 72 hours notice, else there will be a £10 restocking fee for the hair system and the normal appointment cancellation policy will also apply. 


Refunds for Bespoke Hair Systems and Hair replacement services:

No refunds will be given for bespoke hair systems once an order has been place. These are a bespoke product, made to order and therefore have no re-sale value, so no refunds can be given.


Patch Test

For all new Mane Revival clients, it is necessary to carry out a patch/sensitivity test at least 48 hours before your appointment. Failure to come into the salon for a patch test will result in your appointment being cancelled and the above cancellation charges will apply. Please note, this is for your own safety, and for insurance purposes.


Maintenance Appointment

Once you have had your new Novo Cabelo Hair replacement System fitted, it is essential that you keep up with your maintenance appointments. This is a very important consideration when opting for a hair system, as failing to keep up with the necessary maintenance could cause damage to your hair system as well as your natural bio hair and scalp. Your specific maintenance requirements will be discussed at point of consultation, and your recommended scheduled agreed after your initial fitting. This schedule may be revised and adapted at future maintenance appointments. You should always aim to book your next maintenance appointment well in advance, ideally at your previous appointment. Bookings can be made online, via the Vagaro app or in-person. The above terms and conditions in relation to cancellations, and no shows applies.


Services by others

If you have your bio hair cut/coloured or your Novo Cabelo hair replacement system cut/removed or refitted by anyone other than Mane Revival, then no responsibility will be accepted for any resulting problems arising.


Removal of Novo Cabelo Hair System

Should you decide to stop wearing your Novo Cabelo hair replacement System, you are required to return to the salon to have your system removed by a professional, using the correct removal products and correct removal process. This is to ensure your natural hair stays in good condition; no responsibility will be accepted for any damages if you decide to remove the hair system yourself, or by another salon or third party. No responsibility will be accepted for any damage caused beyond the recommended wear period.


Aftercare

We want you to get the very best from your new Novo Cabelo hair replacement System and to keep it looking as good as the day you had your System applied. Good aftercare is essential to keep your System in the best condition possible which can only be achieved if you:

• Only use water based/soluble products.

• Only condition and use hair oils to hydrate your System.

• Do not shampoo your System unless you really need to.

• Prevent colour fade and damage to adhesives by avoiding excessive exposure to UV light / Sunlight.

• If colour revitalisation is needed seek assistance from your approved Novo Cabelo stylist.

• Use a satin pillowcase at night to prevent friction and reduce hair loss.

• Use a detangle brush or wide tooth comb every day to prevent matting.

• Return to your approved Novo Cabelo stylist for a re-groom no later than agreed at your last visit.

• Do not attempt to remove the System yourself.

• Do not use any un-approved products on your System.

If you are unsure always refer to the stylist who fitted your hair replacement System.


Adverse Reaction

If, despite undertaking a patch test, and successful application, should you experience an allergic reaction to your Novo Cabelo hair replacement System, your head becomes very sensitive/painful or you feel you are simply not coping with your new System, you will be required to inform Mane Revival urgently to arrange to come into the salon so that we can check and advise on the next steps. If this results in removal, your hair System will be removed free of charge. These types of reaction are rare, and will likely be within the first 48 hours.
